The LSU AgCenter’s Rice Research Station has produced a number of new varieties with increased yields and improved grain quality over the years. Farmers attending the Station’s annual field day heard veteran rice breeder Steve Linscombe describe some new breakthroughs in conventional long grain, Clearfield and aromatic rice varieties at the station.
