Soybeans lower again after dry holiday weekend

Corn and wheat also lower. (audio)

Soybeans held double-digit losses near midday as the mostly dry three-day holiday weekend allowed planting and fieldwork throughout the Midwest. Talk of easing demand by China and new selling by Brazilian farmers also weighed on the soybeans.

Corn and wheat markets are lower. Winter wheat harvest is under way in Texas and should start in a few weeks in the central Plains.
