The 2010 Tennessee Grain & Soybean Producers’ Conference will be held Thursday, Feb. 4 at the Dyer County Fairgrounds in Dyersburg, Tenn.

The conference begins at 8 a.m. with a trade show.

At 9 a.m. presentations from UT research and Extension specialists, as well as other industry experts, will begin. This year’s presentations will focus on topics such as new technology, crop marketing, resistant weed management and insect control.

After the presentations conclude at noon, lunch will be provided.

Following lunch, conference participants can hear a keynote address from Brian Hefty, who with his brother Darren, co-hosts Ag PhD, a weekly talk show on RFD-TV. Hefty and his brother farm more than 2,000 acres in South Dakota.

The Hefty family also owns and operates Hefty Seed Company, one of the largest seed retailers in the United States.
