The perennial Heart of Texas Cow/Calf Clinic conducted by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service is set for June 18 at the Brown County Fairgrounds in Brownwood on U.S. Hwy 377 South.

The clinic will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a catered barbecue meal.

“The Cow/Calf Clinic has a long-standing tradition of being one of the favorite beef cattle programs in Central Texas,” said Scott Anderson, AgriLife Extension agent in Brown County.

“This year’s program topics include a cattle trichamonaisis situation update and associated regulations, a beef cattle market outlook and the latest information on cattle worming medications,” he said. “We want to invite anyone and everyone with an interest in the Central Texas beef cattle industry to attend.”

Individual pre-registration is $5 by June 16 and $10 thereafter. The fee covers the catered meal.

For more information and to pre-register, contact the AgriLife Extension office in Brown County at 325-646-0386 or e-mail Anderson at [email protected].
