Mike is at the desk, and kicked off the broadcast with a recap of ag happenings for the week, including Husker Harvest Days.

At HHD22, Max talked with Jason Luebbe, Husker Harvest Days, about the weather impact on yields this season. He also spoke with Curt Arens, editor of Nebraska Farmer, about drought impacts this season. Max also talked about the field demos at the show with Luebbe.

Joining Mike is Jim McCormick, agmarket.net, to talk markets, including: the WASDE surprises, export sales, South American acres, carryout, fertilizer supplies, and 2023 acreage thoughts.

In the ag tech segment, Chad Colby talks about farm safety during harvest, both in the field and on the road.

Colter Brown, Northern Ag Network, joins Mike to talk about the wheat harvest across the Plains, as well as drought in the area and water concerns around the Missouri River.

Mike also talks to Brian Ernest, lead economist, animal protein, CoBank, about HPAI concerns, as well as egg production and prices and turkey demand and prices.

Mike Steenhoek, Soy Transportation Coalition, talks to Mike about the rail strike concerns over the past week and looking forward.

Greg Soulje is in with a weather forecast for the week.
