This special Christmas edition shares church choirs, local traditions and festive landmarks from around the heartland.

December 19, 2020

It's the special Christmas episode of This Week in Agribuisness, and Orion and Max talk about all the different country churches Orion visited over the years, as well as the homes they've been invited to.

Mike Pearson reports from Kolze's Corner Gardens with Bob Kolze on poinsettia production, as well as selling Christmas trees and wreaths made on site. He also visits with the Newark, Ill., FFA chapter about their poinsettia fundraiser, as well as the community events, and the advisor's own holiday light display.

Max shares a visit with a church choir in Illinois. He also shares a choir performance from Orion's home church in Illinois.

Max went to Sabetha, Kansas, and talked to Paul Kaeb, CEO of KSI about the company and his leadership. Joan Kaeb shared about what Christmas is like in the city, as well as their home.

Max also visited with Don Landoll, Landoll Corp., Marysville, Kansas, about what the Christmas season brings to that city, including the local Catholic church.

Jamie Johansen travelled to Frankenmuth, Mich., a couple years ago to talk about Bronner's Christmas Wonderland, and that report is shared again in the spirit of Christmas.

Some farms offer a landmark. Tom Brand reports from Hopkins, Mo., about this family farm history, and the landmark silo, which soon became home to a lighted star during the holiday seasons.
