Web site has information on Parazone herbicide

Makhteshim Agan of North America, Inc., (MANA) recently launched a new Web site,, with user-friendly information about the company's newest herbicide, Parazone 3SL.

Recently registered by the Environmental Protection Agency, Parazone 3SL is a broad spectrum, non-selective burndown herbicide also used as a defoliant and desiccant on over 100 crops including corn, soybeans, grapes, cotton, alfalfa and many fruit trees.

“The Web site is a one-stop resource with everything growers and distributors need to use Parazone 3SL safely and successfully,” said Dave Downing, MANA senior product marketing manager. “MANA works hard to promote stewardship and proper use with all of its products, and this site puts everything a customer could need to know about Parazone in one convenient place, easy to access.”

The new online information center provides label information, news, product updates and safety recommendations. The site also includes the complete list of crops for which Parazone is registered, along with links to information about MANA and other available products.

Parazone 3SL, containing the active ingredient paraquat, provides fast, effective control of tough weeds, sedges and grasses in a formulation 50 percent more concentrated than the leading brand. Like all products featuring the active ingredient paraquat, Parazone is a restricted use pesticide and can only be used by certified applicators or persons under their direct supervision.
