This week's top five agriculture stories include an examination of the ag barometer by Purdue University and what it means about the ag economy. Plus, water quality is often a concern but not it's more than just a concern. It's a duty for farmers to ensure they are doing all they can do to make it better. We take a look at some ways, farms can improve water quality.

Also, a look at how to doctor your soil. Just like people get run down, so can soil. Check out the story for some ways you can improve your soil.

And no week is complete without a laugh. Many, if not most producers need one after the wet, cool spring weather we have experienced in the last week or two and the delays created by it.
