The USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) has revised the expected release of its 2010 California Almond Objective Measurement Report from June 30 to July 8.

Data collection for the report has been delayed due to the immaturity of the crop.

Most field crews have been unable to begin orchard work as they wait for the kernels to mature, NASS says. The situation is improving with temperatures rising to near normal levels.
