AGCO outfitted a Challenger MT865C in python skin to highlight the tractor’s 25th anniversary and displayed it at Agritechnica in Hannover, Germany. The python theme captured the attention of farmers who learned the paint job is available as an option on the tractor, but only in Europe.

“We picked the name ‘python’ because it has many associations with the Challenger tracked tractor,” says Gaston Haesen, product support specialist. “It’s powerful, elegant and moves quietly, economically and smoothly and leaves virtually no footprint.”

The MT865C python model features 36-in.-wide belts with poly mid-wheels, debris deflectors, steerable 3-pt. linkage, five hydraulic spool-valves and 16 idler weights. A deluxe cab is equipped with a semi-active seat with leather trim, all-around sun visors and xenon HID lights. Visit www.challenger-ag.com.
