A new primary tillage tool called Weatherproofer III from Landoll is designed to disc and deep till in one pass with uniform residue mixing. The third-generation Weatherproofer tool is built extra heavy with a frame constructed of 4- by 8-in. steel tubing. It is available in eight models ranging from working widths of 10 to 20 ft. with four to eight shanks.

The Weatherproofer III features maintenance-free bearings on the rockshaft and disc gang pivot points and 1¾-in. shafts on the disc gangs. The disc gangs also are equipped with 24-in. blades in place of 22-in. blades on the previous model. Auto-reset parabolic shanks are available on 24- or 30-in. spacings and feature a trip height of 16 in. In addition, single-point depth control allows the operator to set the working depth of the entire machine from one location.

The Weatherproofer III lists from $33,000 for a 23100-4-30 model to $56,200 for a 2310-8-30 model. For more information, call 785/738-6613 or visit www.landoll.com.
