Patriot electric fence just released their new SolarGuard 80 and SolarGuard 150, energizers, which have the familiar "all-in-one" design, including internal battery and solar panel in a compact package.
The energy-efficient solar panel recharges the internal battery to power the fence. A large storage capacitor enables the energizer to operate up to 21 days without sunlight. Patriot says these energizers are now more lightweight and portable than ever before.
The SG80 covers up to 15 acres or 3 miles of fence and the SG150 covers up to 40 acres or 12 miles. These energizers are designed to perform in all weather conditions and conveniently stow fence leads when not in use. These easily mount to steel or wood posts and feature a flashing LED to let you know it’s working. Additionally, these energizers are low impedance, meaning they are designed to deliver power to the end of the fence even under a heavy load of foliage and undergrowth.
