While the weather in much of the West has been springlike for weeks, the calendar will make the change of seasons official next week, marking the traditional start of planting and field and orchard preparation work.
Thousands of growers will enter the 2020 crop season armed with the latest information about technology and sustainable farming practices, which they learned at this winter's full calendar of conferences, farm shows and other events.
Here is a look back at just some of the events in the West, from the Almond Conference in December to the World Ag Expo in February.
