This year’s 3i Show will offer both exhibitors and visitors a chance to participate in some pretty attractive giveaways during the three-day run of the show on Oct, 12, 13 and 14 in Dodge City.
3i Show attendees interested in improving the irrigation efficiency of their farming operations can sign up for chance to win a $1,000 credit toward a complete system or filtration assembly from Dragon Line LLC, which is pioneering mobile drip irrigation with its pivot-to-drip conversion systems.
Registration will be accepted beginning at 9 a.m. on Oct. 12, and the winner will be drawn at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Dragon-Line booth I-224 and 226.
Dragon-Line is available through local pivot dealers all over the U.S., and saves producers 20% to 50% of water usage, bringing precision irrigation to precision farming.
A 10-foot Dragon Flex Hose attaches to the irrigation pivot drops or manifold to ensure no kinking while reversing in the dripline. It emits a uniform water pattern as it drags across the soil surface — thus the name “Dragon-Line” — greatly reducing water evaporation from wind drift and allowing deeper percolation to the plant’s root zone where it is needed most. The high line application is best for taller crops such as corn, small grains, etc.; or there is a low line application for milo, wheat, soybeans, onions, alfalfa, mint, etc.
Saving water is not the only benefit. Dragon-Line reduces or eliminates wheel track issues, allows possible winter watering without ice accumulation on the pivot, eliminates leaf burn and plant shock from sudden temperature changes, reduces the potential for plant diseases, and allows liquid fertilizers to be applied directly on the soil instead of the plant.
KRFM giving away advertising spots
Companies exhibiting at this year’s 3i Show will be eligible to compete for a six-month news sponsorship on KFRM valued at $2,400. Exhibitors need only drop their business card in the drawing box located at KFRM’s exhibit space.

Last year’s winner, Diesel Control Technicians of Hutchinson and Great Bend, said that its ads started to air in November 2016 and by March of 2017, sales had doubled in its Great Bend location.

The KFRM “Radio Spin” Giveaway will include one guaranteed 30-second ad per day Monday through Friday, the mention of the winner’s name on one segment of weekend Kansas Journal and ads during the national news segments including the Oklahoma News, Northwest Kansas News, Central Kansas News, Southwest Kansas News, Virtual News Center and Kansas Journal Entry for six months.
