Did you ever think you would see the day when you could fill two semi-trailers and still have grain left in your grain cart? The day is here. J&M's largest grain cart which was just introduced holds more than 2,300 bushels. It travels through the field on huge, long tracks.

If you still haul grain from the field to your grain center or even to the elevator in wagons, did you ever think you would see the day when you could move the control wheel on the sliding door on a gravity wagon form one side to the other? That day is here too. Demco touted the feature in its new wagon series introduced at recent farm shows. It allows you to move the large wheel to the best position for you, based on where you’re unloading grain from the wagon into an auger, belt conveyor or even at an elevator.

There are also companies offering tracks if you want to convert a grain cart on wheels to tracks, or in some cases, you can order the cart with tracks. Can you imagine trying to explain to your father or grandfather, depending upon your age, that wagons and carts now can run on tracks, not wheels. It wasn’t that long ago that farm wagons on steel wheels with wooden sides hauled grain.

Check out these offerings to see how much grain transportation has advanced.
