EXPANDED TECH: Along with the Soil Command’s new factory fit options, Case IH is releasing a plug-and-play program designed to reduce implement drift called Active Implement. Case IH

Case IH will factory-fit Soil Command in select sizes of model-year 2025 Speed Tiller 475 and VT-Flex 435 tillage equipment. The platform will work with any ISO-compatible tractor that can handle hydraulic needs.

“Technology is about more than data; it should also make farmers’ lives easier,” says Kendal Quandahl, lead of precision technology at Case IH. “Whether it’s fewer in-and-out cab trips to adjust tillage machinery or taking soil management to the next level with prescription tillage, we are providing flexible technology solutions to meet the individual needs of farmers and their agronomic goals.”

Soil Command features single-button control to manage depth, track corrections and lift to full transportation height. It also features customizable presets for consistency within a tillage program. The platform is interoperable and scalable, from basic functionality and compatibility with an existing fleet to upgrading a tillage program to user-defined prescription tillage.

“Regardless of operator skill level, farmers can have confidence that their tillage program will run accurately and efficiently to address any soil concerns, such as compaction, large clod sizing or erosion,” says Ken Lehmann, lead of crop production.

Case IH is also releasing a new plug-and-play program designed to reduce implement drift called Active Implement.

The platform shares guidance line data between the implement and the tractor, ensuring planting, strip till, sidedress and specialty windrow applications, such as potato production, are executed with precision. It has a simple single-display setup that is compatible with select Case IH Early Riser Planters and select third-party applications.
