You have invested a lot into your farm business office, and you want to keep it secure. You may be concerned about crime, wildlife or even weather affecting your office while you are away. Foscam cameras resemble the IP cameras you are accustomed to seeing in small businesses. The company has indoor and outdoor options that have night vision and are waterproof. The devices also have motion and sound detection. With app connectivity, you can view the video feed, set up alerts and even upgrade your device’s firmware. Their cameras range in cost from $84.99 to $369.99.

4) Blink
Blink is a unique option because it can run on batteries for two years and is wire-free. It syncs with an app, includes live viewing and alerts for motion detection. The system starts at $99. Their outdoor camera, Blink XT, is weatherproof and has night vision, and will be available for purchase in 2017.

These cameras are an excellent option to monitor your farm office. If you have greater security needs, such as sensors for motion, doors, and windows, some of these companies offer additional solutions and have integration with Amazon Alexa. However, you may want to speak with a security professional about a more robust system.
