At CES in 2023, major manufacturer John Deere was part of the introductory keynote address for the global event in Las Vegas. But by walking some 20,000 steps each day, attendees were able to see a host of farm and ag tech products offered by smaller manufacturers.

The slideshow highlights some of this tech, which includes tools from autonomous crop scouting to irrigation management. There’s even a biotech houseplant designed to help clean the air in a home or office, which would have value to not only rural farmers, but also city dwellers.

The last two examples in the slideshow offer ways tech could make your home life on the farm a little easier.

Check through this slideshow for ideas that are coming, including some international firms taking on the agricultural technology challenge.
