16 official judges that will evaluate over 2,500 head of top quality dairy cattle at the show Oct. 1-5.

World Dairy Expo has announced the slate of 16 official judges that will evaluate over 2,500 head of top quality dairy cattle. These proficient cattle evaluators bring a wealth of global judging experience to the colored shavings. Cattle exhibitors from all corners of North America work 365-days-a-year for the opportunity to have their cattle critiqued by these individuals. Seven breed champions in the open and junior shows will be selected by week's end, which will go on to compete for the ultimate title of World Dairy Expo Supreme Champion.

The 2013 World Dairy Expo judges are:

•International Ayrshire Show: Paul Trapp, Taylor, Wis.
Associate Judge: Keith Topp, Botkins, Ohio

•International Brown Swiss Show: Richard Hill, Cattaraugus, N.Y.
Associate Judge: Joe Sparrow, Frankfort, Ky.  

•International Guernsey Show: Gary Estes, Rogersfield, Mo. 
Associate Judge: Bob Griggs, Seminole, Okla.

•International Holstein Show: Justin Burdette, Mercersburg, Pa.
Associate Judge: Gus Schwartzbeck, Union Bridge, Md.

•International Jersey Show: Callum McKinven, Canton de Hatley, Quebec, Canada
Associate Judge: Stephen Borland, Ormstown, Quebec, Canada

•International Milking Shorthorn Show: Lynn Harbaugh, Marion, Wis.
Associate Judge: Katie Bue, Alma Center, Wis.

•International Red & White Show: Michael Heath, Westminster, Md.
Associate Judge: Mike Berry, Albany, Ore.

•International Junior Holstein Show: Pat Conroy, Angola, Ind.
Associate Judge: Esteban Posada R., Queretaro, Mexico  

World Dairy Expo is recognized as the largest dairy-focused event in the world. The 2013 World Dairy Expo theme will be "Center of the Dairy Universe."
