Wisconsin State Fair has been named to the 2008 Top 100 Events in North America list by the American Bus Association.
Hundreds of events throughout North America were nominated by state and provincial tourisms offices and local and regional convention and visitors bureaus. A panel of American Bus Association member bus and tour operators determined the selections for the Top 100 Events. The selected events were featured in a special insert in Destinations magazine's September edition.
"It is an honor for the Wisconsin State Fair to be selected by the ABA as one of the top events in North America," stated Randy Prasse, executive director of Wisconsin State Fair Park. "Receiving this recognition also increases Wisconsin's position in the spotlight, placing not only the Wisconsin State Fair, but the entire state of Wisconsin on the list of destinations for travelers."
