Wisconsin FFA Foundation Announces 2013 Scholarship Opportunities
More than $22,000 in educational support available.

The Wisconsin FFA Foundation calls for scholarship applicants for more than $22,000 in educational funding. To be considered for financial support, applications must be received by the Wisconsin FFA Foundation by March 15.

Each year, the Wisconsin FFA Foundation works with industry members and companies to provide several scholarships to students based on demonstrated leadership, scholastic involvement, personal growth and future goals. Through the Wisconsin FFA Foundation, FFA members need to fill out one application to be considered for all scholarships for which the applicant qualifies.

Wisconsin FFA Foundation Announces 2013 Scholarship Opportunities

The 2013 Wisconsin FFA Foundation scholarships are provided by companies and individual endowment funds as follows:

•Blain's Farm and Fleet - $1,800 (2)
•GROWMARK - $1,200 (2)
•Kenneth Heideman Endowment - $1,000 (4)
•Arnold and Katherine Cordes Endowment - $1,000 (1)
•Cooperative Resources International - $750 (2)
•ANIMART, Inc. - $600 (2)
•Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association - $600 (2)
•UW-Madison, Collegiate FFA - $600 (1)
•Star Blends - $525 (1)
•Matthew D. Anderson Endowment Fund - $500 (4)
•Foth Production Solutions, LLC - $500 (2)
•Rodney O. Kittelsen Endowment - $500 (1)
•Bernie and Marty Staller Endowment - $500 (1)
•WPS Farm Show Food Vendors - $450 (1)
•John and Hattie Van Wychen Endowment - $450 (1)
•Mary Elstad and Dean P. Gagnon Endowment - $400 (1)
•Elstad Brothers Endowment - $400 (1)
•Dr. Virgil and Ann Martinson Endowment - $400 (1)
•UW-Madison, Collegiate FFA (Farm and Industry Short Course) - $300 (1)

"We are excited to team up with industry partners to offer these scholarship opportunities to Wisconsin FFA members," says Nicole Nelson, executive director of the Wisconsin FFA Foundation. "With the help of our sponsors, students will have the opportunity to pursue their career goals through further education, helping the Wisconsin FFA Foundation to further invest in the future of the agriculture industry."

To be eligible for a Wisconsin FFA Foundation scholarship, applicants must be a senior in high school or currently enrolled in a university or technical school, be a member in good standing of the Wisconsin Association of FFA and have maintained a satisfactory scholastic record.

Applications are available and must be postmarked to the Wisconsin FFA Foundation by March 15.
