Wisconsin Farmers Union will hold a Dairy Solutions Listening Session at the Holiday Inn, 1017 East McCoy Boulevard, Tomah, on Aug. 4. All dairy farmers, both WFU members and non-members are invited to attend the free event.
WFU has invited the Wisconsin congressional delegation and state agricultural legislative leaders to hear solutions to the dairy crisis from farmers. Â Dairy farmers will have the opportunity to speak beginning at 12:30 p.m.
Â
"Wisconsin's grassroots farm organization is leading the way to solutions proposed by dairy farmers for dairy farmers," WFU President Sue (Beitlich) Carlson said. "This is the most important agricultural issue in Wisconsin. Â It is time legislators hear solutions straight from the source."
