A special showing of the documentary, The Great American Wheat Harvest, will be held at the Grand 22 movie theatre in Bismarck, N.D., on Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. The screening y is sponsored by New Holland Agriculture, one of the many companies and agricultural organizations who provided support for the production of the film.

Wheat harvest across the U.S. is the topic of a new documentary that will air in Bismarck this week.

The Great American Wheat Harvest tells the story of hard-working custom harvesters who travel from the heart of Texas to the Canadian border harvesting the wheat that feeds not only our country, and the world. The story is dramatic as well as inspiring. It's compelling as it shares the challenges that are now threatening that way of life passed on from generation to generation.

The Great American Wheat Harvest is the creation of award-winning independent filmmaker, Conrad Weaver of ConjoStudios, LLC, who produced the documentary with sponsorship backing from New Holland and other agricultural companies, as well as state agriculture groups and agencies, including the North Dakota Wheat Commission. The national premiere screening was held during the 2014 National Ag Day festivities on March 25 in Washington, D.C.
