The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board hired Vicki Janisch as specialist, producer communications and programs.
Janisch works closely with DairyDoingMore.com as well as specific areas of EatWisconsinCheese.com. She also works with social media to grow the online following and enhance the information being shared. In addition, Janisch will assist with trade shows and newsletters and will be integrated into the crisis preparedness team.
A graduate of University of Wisconsin-River Falls, Janisch was raised on a registered Holstein dairy, Moss Oak Farm, near DeForest and still helps her family with their 60-cow dairy.

She comes to WMMB from AgrAbility of Wisconsin, a non-profit organization which assists disabled or injured farmers with adapted equipment to help them continue farming. Prior to that she worked as an assistant at a marketing agency and was a herdsperson on a dairy farm. She also had an internship in Switzerland with a dairy genetics company in their international marketing communications program.
Janisch began her responsibilities on Aug. 8 and works out of the Madison office.
