Exapta Solutions improved its Valion seed tube guards with tougher more robust design.

Valion seed tube guards for planters offered improved furrow creation when they were introduced last year, and now maker Exapta Solutions has made them even tougher and more long-lasting.

"We're producing a product that prevents blade flex on planters over a greater lifespan, thus creating a furrow that's properly shaped to get seeds to the bottom," says Matt Hagny, Exapta founder. "This will give producers much better planting depth control," he noted.

The new Valions are designed to give 2-5 times the wear of original equipment guards.

The redesigned guards are available for all Deere planters with XP cast row units and Deere pre-XP row units, along with Kinze 2000s.
