Ryan Timm of Rose Creek, Minn., is the new president of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls CAFES Alumni Association. A 1999 graduate of UW-River Falls, Timm majored in animal science. He currently is a food technologist in research and development at Hormel Foods in Austin, Minn. A native of Spring Valley, Wis., Timm and his family raised Polled Hereford cattle.
Newly elected as vice president was Tyler Grenzow of River Falls. Grenzow is a 1998 graduate of UW-River Falls, where in majored in agronomy. He currently is an account manager for WinField Solutions, a Land O'Lakes Company.
The new secretary is Lorry Erickson of Warrens. Erickson is a 1983 graduate of UW-River Falls, where she majored in horticulture and journalism. Erickson is the director of the Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center in Warrens.
Newly elected to the board as a director is Glenn Hoeft of Baraboo. A 1976 animal science graduate of UW-River Falls, is a product consultant for Accelerated Genetics, based in Baraboo.
