The design of the new Vermeer 605 Super M Cornstalk baler is devoted to making baling stalks as easy as baling hay. The new machine also includes available Inline Ramp capability to position bales so you can pick them up along the rows without having to drive over ridges and cornstalks.
In addition, the new machine features a new, durable O-ring chain in high-wear areas to withstand ther harsh conditions of cornstalk baling.
Baling cornstalks is just like baling hay with Vermeer's 605 Super M Cornstalk Special Baler. The machine can be equipped with an optional In-Line Ramp to make pickup of stalk bales easier and less damaging to the field.
Other updates include a powered windguard to improve feeding of stalks and provide easy clearing of pickup blockages by reversing the windguard.. The Cornstalk Special also comes standard with the Bale Expert monitor, which includes three bale shape sensors and scale for real-time bale weight reporting. It's also built with a dual-stage belt tightener for increased starting speeds.
