DuPont Crop Protection has ntroduced DuPont Trivence herbicide, a preplant or preemergence herbicide that provides excellent burndown and residual control of challenging broadleaf weeds while supporting resistance management strategies.

''Trivence is particularly valuable to soybean growers facing glyphosate- and ALS-resistant weeds,'' said James Hay, business director, North America, DuPont Crop Protection. ''Multiple effective modes of action tackle tough broadleaf weeds, preventing weed escapes and the spread of resistant biotypes.''

Featuring three modes of action, Trivence helps preserve the efficacy of existing herbicide options when used in a strategic weed-control program. The formulation also provides reliable and long-lasting control of many challenging weeds, including Palmer amaranth, marestail, waterhemp, giant ragweed, morningglory and lambsquarters.

Trivence moves quickly through the target weed, reaching leaves, roots and shoots for consistent control. Extended residual control keeps fields clean after planting, allowing more uniform soybean emergence and better stand establishment.

The flexible formulation tank mixes easily with a variety of grass and broadleaf herbicides for broad-spectrum control. See the Trivence label for tank-mixing guidelines.

It is included in the TruChoice rewards program.
