'Treasures of the Land' Art Exhibition at Farmamerica

Saturday evening kicks off the exhibit with silent auction, music and wine.

"Treasures of the Land", the Farmamerica 2012 exhibition of local artists, will open with an evening event Saturday, April 21, 6.30pm – 10.00pm.

Meet the artists, enjoy the wine, peruse the art collection and vote on your favorite piece.  A silent auction will be held during the evening, with a short program and award ceremony beginning at 8.00pm. Brian Frink, popular local artist and art professor at Minnesota State University, will be the featured speaker. Live classical violin and viola music will provide a lovely musical backdrop for evening.

'Treasures of the Land' Art Exhibition at Farmamerica

Wine and cheese, soft drinks and hors d' oeuvres will be served throughout the event.  The cost is $18 per ticket in advance, or $20 at the door.

The proceeds from the event will go towards improving Farmamerica's educational programs for elementary school children. Call (507) 835-2052 for tickets or go to  for more information. The exhibition will be held in the Visitor Center at Farmamerica, 7367 360th Avenue, Waseca.
