Iowa Learning Farms' March Webinar will offer tips on cover crops. You can tune in via your home computer March 16 at noon and see, listen and learn from Iowa State University experts explaining how to make cover crops work on your farm.

The Iowa Learning Farms' March webinar, to be held Wednesday, March 16 at Noon, will feature Jeremy Singer and cover crop management. The webinar is part of a series of webinars, hosted by ILF, held on the third Wednesday of each month. The webinars will be held over the noon hour through Adobe Connect. All that is needed to participate is a computer with Internet access.

Jeremy Singer, a research agronomist with the National Laboratory for Agriculture and the Environment at Iowa State University in Ames, will discuss cover crop management. Singer has been working with cover crop studies for some time. He will address adding small grain cover crops to a corn-soybean rotation. He will talk about what and when to plant as well as termination aspects of a small grain cover crop. Singer will be able to answer questions from webinar "attendees" via the Adobe Connect chat box.
