TeeJet Boom Shutoff Manifold Is Positive and Compact

TeeJet Boom Shutoff Manifold Is Positive and Compact

The new 540 Series manifold from TeeJet adds the latest designs for sprayer boom control.

The heart of precision application is found in the plumbing of VRT sprayers, and TeeJet has just introduced some new "heart medicine" with its new compact, positive-shutoff 540 Series boom manifold.

The 540 is designed to provide longer life in harsh environments involving abrasive chemicals and fertilizers and its plunger-type valves provides for a strong closing force. The valves are gear-actuated for strength and dependability.

The new manifold has a side inlet and bottom outlet and an integral mounting bracket for easy installation on a wide range of sprayers.

The new 540 Series manifold from TeeJet provides a compact gear-driven actuator for positive shutoff on sprayer booms.

Shutoff time for the 540 (from fully open to closed) is 0.7 seconds. The 540 valves handle 27 gallons per minute flows at a 5 psi pressure drop and 38 gpm at 10 psi. The manifold will handle up to 175 psi.

TeeJet also designed the 540's quick-disconnect for rapid attachment and detachment , and fitted the unit with a 3-pin Metri-Pack 150-series shroud connector.
