The South Dakota Cooperative Extension Service has set dates and locations for row-crop clinics and private pesticide applicator recertification meetings.
Producers who hold private applicator's certificates that expire Dec. 31 can renew their certification by attending one of the 3-hour sessions or by taking home and completing an examination. The exams are available at your county Extension office.
The 2010 crop clinics will include private applicator recertification training. Those seeking private applicator recertification training at the clinics must attend the entire 1-4 p.m. session. The crop clinics begin with registration at 9:30 a.m. and the program begin at 9:45 a.m.
Participants who complete the pesticide recertification training will be renewed through Dec. 31, 2014. The meeting times and places include:

Crop clinic at 9:30 a.m., applicator recertification at 1 p.m., Jan. 13, Community building, Parker
Private applicator recertification at 1 p.m., Jan. 19, Community building, Crooks
Crop clinic at 9:30 a.m., applicator recertification at 1 p.m., Feb. 2, Bridges of Beresford, Beresford
Crop clinic, 9:30 a.m., applicator recertification at 1 p.m., Feb. 3, JoDean's Restaurant, Yankton
Private applicator recertification at 6:30 p.m. on March 23, Minnehaha County Extension office, Sioux Falls.
