Calling all farmers and forest products producers! The University of Connecticut, with funding from Farm Credit East, is conducting a survey to discover how state and municipal regulations are impacting farming and timber activities.
All who are engaged in the business of agriculture or forest products within New England, New York or New Jersey are invited and urged to participate. The survey will take no more than 15 minutes to complete. But you'll need to complete it by this Friday, Oct. 31. It's being conducted by the University of Connecticut's Zwick Center for Food and Resource Policy.
Your responses will be kept confidential and used only for statistical purposes. The survey results will be developed into a report to be shared with Northeast agricultural leaders and policy makers at the state and local levels. Your participation may impact the regulatory environment for agriculture by allowing for better policy recommendations on regulations that limit Northeast farm businesses
To participate, take the survey site administered by UCONN.
Note: The website is maintained, and the survey is being conducted by UCONN, not Farm Credit East. For more background about the survey, click on FarmCreditEast.com/RegulatorySurvey.
You won't not be paid by UCONN or Farm Credit East for being in this study. This survey does not involve any risk to you.
You don't have to answer any question that you don't want to for any reason. If you have questions about this project, contact Benjamin Campbell at 860-486-1925 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Again, responses are requested by October 31, 2014. Your participation is important and may impact the regulatory environment for Northeast agriculture by allowing for better policy recommendations on regulations that limit Northeast farm businesses.
