New formulations of ivermectin with clorsulon, plus anti-inflammatory add more options for beef cattle treatment.

Pfizer Animal Health announces two new brands, Alverin Plus (ivermectin/clorsulon) and Flunixamine (flunixin meglumine).

Both products offer a high-quality, competitively priced animal health option from Pfizer Animal Health for formulations of ivermectin/clorsulon and flunixin meglumine.  

Alverin Plus treats and controls important parasites in cattle such as adult liver flukes, gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, cattle grubs, sucking lice and mange mites. It is available in 500 mL and 1,000 mL plastic bottles for ease of handling.

Flunixamine is a non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drug for use in cattle and horses.

For cattle Flunixamine is indicated for the control of pyrexia associated with bovine respiratory disease (BRD), endotoxemia and acute bovine mastitis. It also is indicated for the control of inflammation in endotoxemia.

For horses, Flunixamine is recommended for alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders. It also is recommended for the alleviation of visceral pain associated with colic.

Your veterinarian can help ensure proper dosing and administration. It is available in 100 mL and 250 mL glass bottles.
