Reinke reintroduces its Ontrac sprinkler management system with extensive remote capability.

Reinke Mfg. Co., is revisiting its Ontrac remote irrigation management system, only this time with a host of communication options.

The previous Ontrac took its cues from satellite-based communications only, but the new version includes Ontrac Radio, Ontrac Satellite Plus and Ontrac Satellilte. The system is designed for both Reinke machinery and other brands as well.

Reinke President Chris Roth says "Ontrac is designed to provide a comfortable level of (24/7) irrigation system remote management that is easy to use and dependable."

The three-input redesign provides growers with an array of communication options from basic control to the most sophisticated system possible. Ontrac Radio broadcasts from a base station -- a home or office computer -- and allows users to securely access, control and monitor irrigation systems using any web-enabled device. As part of the Ontrac Radio configuration, Reinke engineers do a communication path study to ensure successful operation within a grower's particular geographic environment.

Ontract Satellite Plus and Satellite offer varying degrees of remote management options. Both are designed for use in areas with poor cell reception or where growers are separated a great distance from their pivots.
