New Kids On The Block In Sprayer Market

New Kids On The Block In Sprayer Market

PLA self-propelled ag sprayers will make their American debut this spring.

A pair of new self-propelled ag sprayers from Argentina will be available to U.S. producers this spring, marketed by American Resources LLC as their North American distributor.

The machines feature front or rear boom capabilities, high crop clearance, ultra-low compaction ratings and a number of industry-leading innovations. Both machines have the option of using a specially-designed wind tunnel to reduce drift and/or expand coverage and reduce water use.

New self-propelled sprayers from PLA, an Argentina-based manufacturer, will be introduced in the U.S. this spring, marketed by American Resources LLC of Lake Mills, Iowa.

PLA is based in Santa Fe, Argentina and is a major manufacturer of self-propelled and pull-type sprayers, and planters with more than 30 years in the business. The company manufactures in Argentina and Brazil and markets its products in the United States, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Europe and Russia.
