Keeping sprinkler heads pointing in the right direction requires weighting, and Senninger is filing that need with the Magnum Weight.
Unlike conventional drop weights, Senninger has innovated this key part by constructing the weight out of UV and corrosion-resistant-thermoplastic. Using the thermoplastic also keeps the price of each weight down too. Cost of the Magnum Weight is just $5.75 per unit - which is for the threaded model that is used on the i-Wob sprinkler head from Senninger. The slip model used on a range of sprinklers will list for $5.20 each. At the $5.75 price, the company says the weight is almost 10% more economical than their own One Weight, which can make each sprinkler package a little more economical.
The Magnum Weight is also immune to price fluctuations too, Senninger reports. The weights don't rely on common metal where prices can fluctuate when the price of zinc and copper change on the market. Growers working areas where metal theft is common will find that the Magnum Weight has no metal parts.
