Buhler Farm King is offering several new options to its auger line, including a hydraulic winch and hopper mover for the Backsaver Augers and a new auger mover for the conventional line.

Conventional auguers get a new easy-to-use gasoline-powered mover equipped with a forward/reverse handlebar position. Nearby controls work the hydraulic lift and winch. The mover, itself is hydraulically-powered. The mover comes in two sizes to fit Farm King's conventional augers.

AUGER MOVER: Farm King is putting hydraulic power to work on cutting labor around grain handling sites.

With a mover for its conventional augers and hydraulic power for its Backsaver auger winches and hoppers, the company takes aim at labor shortages and expenses

The hydraulic winch for the Backsaver Augers eliminates the need to manually winch the swing away hopper into place for transport. Taking hydraulic power from a tractor, the winch is operated by a control lever on the end of the main auger tube.

Also, Farm King has a hydraulic hopper mover designed for the swing away hopper. Controlled like the hydraulic winch, from a tube-mounted lever, the hopper mover gives operators an easy back and forth adjustment at the push of a lever.

Prices for the hopper and winch movers are $1,750 and $1,675 respectively. The conventional auger mover will be priced later this year.
