NCBA Releases Smartphone App for Convention

App includes convention exhibitors, schedule of events

Those attending the 2013 Cattle Industry Convention and National Cattlemen's Beef Association Trade Show in Tampa, Fla., next month can stay up-to-date on all convention information and events by downloading the smartphone app made especially for the convention.

The app contains the schedule of events, exhibitor listings, national weather forecasts, market data updates and maps, along with floor plans for the convention center and area hotels. There is also an NCBA Trade Show floor plan.

"The Cattle Industry Convention app is a very useful tool for everyone attending the convention and trade show," said NCBA Executive Director of Meetings and Events Kristin Torres. "All of the important information about the convention can be found in one location, and the app will continually be updated with the latest news and events. We encourage all convention attendees to download it onto their smartphones."

The free app can be downloaded by searching "CIC & NCBA" in the Apple Store, Android Market and BlackBerry's App World. For more information on this and the 2013 Cattle Industry Convention, visit www.beefusa.org.
