Lincoln Puts Welding Safety Online

Lincoln Puts Welding Safety Online

Welding manufacturer's award-winning DVD is now an interactive web-based program.

Safety is rarely an "interesting subject" but accident and injury rates show it should be across all industries. Lincoln Electric is seeking to bring the subject a little closer -- and easier to access -- with the recent adaptation of it's award-winning Welding Safety DVD to an online interactive guide.

Designed to educate arc welders about the potential hazards in arc welding and safety practices to avoid injury, Lincoln's  Welding Safety Interactive Guide offers information on the following topics:

* How to avoid electrical shock.
* How to prevent fire and explosions.
* How to choose appropriate personal protection equipment.

Once only a DVD, Lincoln Electric's Welding Safety program is now an interactive guide available online.

The guide also includes insights and tips from the American Welding Society and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

The new online guide is compatible with iPad, iPhone and Android technology.
