Kelsey Ostby Joins Wisconsin Farm Report Radio Team

Ostby is a senior at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater majoring in communications with an emphasis in journalism and public relations.

Farm Director, Pam Jahnke, the "Fabulous Farm Babe," has announced that Kelsey Ostby will be joining the team effective immediately. Ostby's duties will include in field and on-air reporting, social media management, and network relations.

Ostby is no stranger to Wisconsin agriculture. She grew up on her family's 242-acre dairy farm near Argyle. She was also active in the FFA. Ostby's passion for agriculture has led to internships with agricultural companies both state and nationwide. She also served as the 2012 summer intern for the Wisconsin Farm Report.

Kelsey Ostby is no stranger to Wisconsin agriculture. She grew up on her family's 242-acre dairy farm near Argyle. She was also active in the FFA. Her duties at Wisconsin Farm Report will include in field and on-air reporting, social media management, and network relations.

She brings a variety of skills to the Wisconsin Farm Report group including social media development, writing and design, and event planning.

Kelsey is currently a senior at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater pursuing a degree in communications with an emphasis in journalism and public relations. She also serves as the president of the UW-Whitewater Public Relations Student Society of America.

In her spare time, Kelsey enjoys spending time with family and friends, and attending various sporting events, including her sibling's high school games. 

Pam Jahnke said, "It takes a lot of energy to keep consumers and growers up to date on what's happening in Wisconsin agriculture and Kelsey's got that energy – that passion!"
