Kelley Mfg. Caters To Cover Crop Users With New One-Pass Roller

Kelley Mfg. Caters To Cover Crop Users With New One-Pass Roller

Cover crop management demands special treatment for one-pass planting.

Roll, rip, strip, and plant in one pass with Kelley Mfg.'s new cover crop roller in four- or six-row configurations.

The new machine helps producers retain soil moisture under cover crops, yet provides good manipulation of residue ahead of the company's Rip-Strip forĀ  a well-prepared seedbed for the planter attached to the back.

With more producers interested in soil erosion control and residue covers for moisture retention, the cover crop roller provides an up-front lay-down of residue with large coulters to separate rows before planting.

For more information on the crop roller, visit www.kelleymfg.com.

Kelley's Crop Roller attaches to its Rip-Strip implement to provide for one-pass planting in heavy cover crop residues.
