Kappelman, Dressler hired at AgSource

Kappelman, Dressler hired at AgSource
One will work with milk producers and the other with field technicians

AgSource recently hired Erin Kappelman as a regional sales representative and Emily Dressler as technical support specialist.

Kappleman will introduce dairy producers to the cooperative's Dairy Herd Improvement products and services and assist with internal sales training.

Kappelman is a 2014 graduate of University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor's degree in dairy science. While in college, she participated in the Midwest Dairy Challenge competition and was an active member of the Saddle and Sirloin Club, Association of Women in Agriculture and the Badger Dairy Club. She also worked as a student intern for the Department of Dairy Science.

Erin Kappleman, left, is a graduate of UW-Madison. Emily Dressler graduated from UW-River Falls.

Kappelman grew up working on her family's 460-cow dairy, Meadow Brook Dairy Farms in Two Rivers where she assisted with all aspects of herd management.  In addition, she served as a special projects intern for Cooperative Network and most recently was a summer dairy sales intern for Zoetis.

In Dressler's role, she will help acquaint new field technicians with proper techniques required to provide quality service to the cooperative's DHI members.  In addition, she will provide technical support to herd managers and consultants for computer hardware and software interfaces as well as online products and services. Dressler is one of four AgSource technical support specialists. She joins Tami Thomas (Northeast Region), Shannon Boschma (Central Region) and Dawn Owens (Northwest Region). Dressler will serve the Southern AgSource Region.

Dressler is a graduate of UW-River Falls, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in agricultural education. She has worked in the customer service department at Ederer's Dairy Supply and most recently served as an office, feed and account coordinator for Premier Cooperative in Southern Wisconsin. She resides in Linden.
