Junkers is a UW-Platteville graduate

Filament Marketing, LLC announces the hiring of Katie Wilke Junkers as a marketing manager. Junkers will be working within the company's dairy management team supporting their strong and growing department.

Katie Wilke Junkers grew up on a dairy farm near Waterloo.

"We are excited about the skillset and background that Katie brings to the Filament team," says Brianna Ripp, director of client experience with Filament Marketing. "Her roots in the dairy industry, combined with a skillset from outside the agriculture industry, brings our team and clients a unique and fresh perspective. Combined with her marketing knowledge, event management experience and project management skills Katie is already a tremendous asset to Filament Marketing's client partners."

Growing up on a small dairy farm outside of Waterloo, Junkers was involved with the farm at a young age. Her love for the land and passion for young stock kept her involved at the farm throughout her college days, and even today she can be found working beside her family on the home farm.

Junkers joins the Filament team after five years of running her own marketing business. Assisting small businesses from the diesel, agriculture and pool and spa industries, Junkers has been involved with strategic planning, social media management, advertising, content development and more.

Junkers earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agribusiness with a minor in broadcast communications from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She is currently a volunteer with the Lake Mills Parent Teachers Organization, the Rock Lake Activity Center and volunteers during World Dairy Expo to assist with school tours.
