John Deere Offers Mobile Farm Manager For On-The-Go Business

John Deere Offers Mobile Farm Manager For On-The-Go Business

Free download gives producers access on iPhone and iPad devices for mobile digital integration.

John Deere's Farm Manager program includes the ability to use field maps, historical reports, GPS tracking, field navigation and soil sampling grids for quick and accurate agronomic decision making. Now those abilities are available for iPhones and iPads through the company's Mobile Farm Manager application.

The free app is available at the Apple Store and is designed to connect to the customer's Apex farm management software.

The program also allows customers to share agronomic information with ag service providers, farm managers and other advisors as needed.

Mobile Farm Manager from John Deere allows producers access to their field maps, soil test results, GPS data and other inputs to give them on-the-go agronomic data for management decisions.

Tyler Hogrefe, product marketing manager for Deere's Intelligent Solutions Group, says Mobile Farm Manager is the latest in a growing suite of tech products under John Deere's FarmSight strategy.
