John Deere Links Dealer's Inventory to eBay

Deere and eBay will provide easier shopping for equipment.

John Deere has integrated their used machinery Web site, www.machinefinder.com, with eBay. Dealers will be able to use the same system to upload their inventory to eBay that they already use to place their used equipment on the Deere site.

"John Deere dealers will now be able to take advantage of the popularity of the eBay platform to give their customers the ability to find John Deere used equipment and purchase it through eBay’s bidding platform," says Michael Gause, division manager, remarketing services. "This means potential John Deere customers can now more quickly find used John Deere equipment from authorized dealers at the best price."

According to Gause, the new technology gives dealers the cutting edge tools they need to be more successful.
