Jaguar Harvester Gets New Options

PU380 harvest head available.

Claas of America has introduced the PU 380 pick-up head and Cam Pilot for its Jaguar forage harvester to boost capacity and improve crop quality.

The PU 380 comes in a 12' 6" width with the standard quick coupler for easy connection and operation on the Jaguar forage harvester. The PU 380 offers improved ground following abilities from cab-controlled orders and pivots independently from the main frame of the head. The new head comes with beefed up gears and a ratchet-style auger clutch for longer life than friction designs. The 380 also features short flighting, a redesigned auger tube and replaceable tines, camshaft arms, wear strips on the auger and paddles and the ability to replace the floor and intake. The 380 keeps the company's proven roller crop press and boosts the capacity of the Jaguar by 10%.

Claas has boosted the capacity of the Jaguar forage harvester by 10% with the new PU 380 pickup head. The

new harvester head offers heavy-duty gearing and redesigned augers and flighting for increased flow-through.

The Claas Cam Pilot which automatically steers the Jaguar along a windrow to enable the operator to concentrate on keeping the machine running at top efficiency is available for the 380 and other Claas pickup heads. Claas is billing the Cam Pilot as an inexpensive alternative solution for GPS.
