IIRA Presents Sustainability Speeches Along with WIU

The weekly lunch presentation began Tuesday with a discussion on global warming.

The Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs  at Western Illinois University will once again sponsor a series of Sustainability Brownbaggers lunch-time conversation events.

The one-hour presentations, held over the lunch hour from 12:30–1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, are described as "conversations for the natural and social sciences, business and the arts and humanities."

The Sustainability Brownbaggers events will be held in WIU's Leslie F. Malpass Library, third floor. Individuals are welcome to bring their lunches to each event. Upcoming presentations include:

Tuesday, Sept. 20: "Is Global Warming Underway?"

The Sustainability Brownbaggers series is presented in cooperation with Western Illinois University Libraries, WIU Center for Innovation in Teaching and Research (CITR), WIU Centennial Honors College and WIU Employee Wellness.
