Goodyear launches tough new Wrangler

Tough tire line makes its debut.

Farmers, ranchers, horse owners and contractors will appreciate the newly-designed premium Wrangler tire lineup from Goodyear.

The Wrangler featuring SilentArmor Technology Pro-Grade sports a new tread compound and improved treadwear and toughness for 3/4- and 1-ton pickups, say Goodyear officials.

The Pro-Grade Wranglers are made with a new chip- and chunk-resistant tread compound on two high-tensile strength steel belts and a Kevlar layer to absorb shock and road noise. The tire also features an enhanced Rim Lock which reduces bead slippage and the need for frequent wheel balancing.

The new Wranglers come with a 50,000-mile treadlife limited warranty, a 30-day no obligation trial period, nationwide warranty and off-road assistance.

The Pro-Grade line comes in 33 sizes covering P-Metric, LT-Metric and high floatation applications for 15-18 inch rims. Seven more sizes are planned for 2007.
