Farm Tire Company 'Hops' to the Future

Farm Tire Company 'Hops' to the Future

Trelleborg gets into the movie business to tell the story of its farm tire technology.

We're not saying Pixar beware, but a new computer animated movie from Trelleborg does offer a unique and cute - look at the history of the company's tire development through the eyes of a nameless cricket farmer who at one point is literally "rolled over" by wheel and tire solution advancements from 1955 to the present. The animated movie, which is available in 3D and more traditional 2D formats (we have embedded the 2D version below), was originally shown at the SIMA2013 exhibit in Paris earlier this year. The company reports that more than 3,000 people watched the movie. You can get to the 3D version of the film by visiting the company's YouTube channel.

VIDEO HISTORY: Trelleborg takes a look at farm tire development since 1955 in a new animated feature. You can watch the movie embedded below.

Comments Lorenzo Ciferri, marketing director, Agricultural and Forestry Tires, Trelleborg Wheel Systems: "After watching the adventures of our new animated character we hope audiences appreciate the strong contribution and role of Trelleborg as an innovation pioneer in agriculture history."
